At D’eux Design we understand that privacy is very important. Not only for us or you, but also for society as a whole.
We take your privacy very seriously and we take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. We store the specified personal information mentioned above and/or received emails from the moment we receive your first email request. The retention period of this data by D’eux Design is the standard 7 years.

Of course, you are not obliged to provide us with the above information, however if we do not have the aforementioned information, we cannot guarantee the correct delivery of our email answer and/or our services.

For the correct answers due to your requests made on our website and the possibility to reply by email.

Choices regarding your personal details
Of course, we offer you the possibility to change, transfer or delete any personal information that is currently provided to us. You can send this request by email and we will respond within 4 weeks. In the event of a request for deletion of data, we will try to respond within 4 days. Removal of data is always possible unless there are unresolved issues between you and us (e.g. an unpaid invoice or something similar).

In order for us to be sure that you have made the above-mentioned email request, we ask you to send us proof of identity along with the request. Please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and social security number. This is to protect your privacy.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not knowingly collect data from online visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. If you are convinced that we have collected data from a minor, please email us and if appropriate we will delete the information received.

Automated decision-making
D’eux Design does not make decisions on matters that can have (significant) consequences for individuals based on automated processing. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without a person intervening.

Déux Design does not sell your data to third parties and your data will only be provided to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We only share our information with third parties for the correct execution of our (marketing) activities. We enter into a processing agreement with these companies to ensure that they also apply the same GDPR privacy standards and values as us. 
In some cases, the information may be shared internally with (freelance) colleagues. In this case, we require that they respect the confidentiality of your information and to treat it securely in accordance with the norms and values of D’eux Design.
